The Alliance Française de Bhopal is attracting art lovers with their 3D artworks of eleven French artists. Each work speaks in its own language and together they tell a unified story - one of a world without boundaries. This is all part of the 'Midi Minuit' augmented reality exhibition, which is being organized under the Novembre Numérique Festival 2023.
The works include Johan Papin’s Windows, Lila Poppin’s Tarot, Florent Remiso’s Birds, Juliaon Roels’s The Knight, Théo Guignard’s Strange Encounter, and Vincent Mahé’s Mars. Aurblion Joannoy, the founder and artistic director of Maison Tangible, has curated the collection. Joannoy said, “Midi Minuit was born of the desire to bring together the crème de la crème of French illustration around a single theme. Most of them come from the world of animation, so it seemed only natural to take these artists on a journey towards an infinite loop, that of the passing days."
Aside from the artwork, the V R Artwork Programme 2023 is also drawing in art fans. Visitors can use virtual reality headsets to explore six of the monuments of Paris. Anamika, a student, said, “I saw this kind of exhibition for the first time in Bhopal, It was an amazing and wonderful experience.”
The Alliance Française de Bhopal is a wonderful opportunity for art lovers to discover the work of French artists from around the world. With the augmented reality exhibition, the V R Artwork Programme 2023, and more, it is a one-of-a-kind experience that will remain in the memories of those who visit for a long time.
