Still fun, but not as great as Avengers.

Blame Stranger Things for making Dungeons & Dragons cool for the first time ever - and for giving us this new franchise-starting spin-off! Edgin (Chris Pine) and Holga the Barbarian (his gruff partner in crime) are on the run from the law to get their hands on a magic ‘resurrection tablet’. With the aid of Justice Smith’s timid sorcerer, Sophia Lillis’s pointy-eared shape-shifter and a gang of sidekicks, Edgin hopes to reunite with his daughter and bring his dead wife back to life. Despite being a tongue-in-cheek and family-friendly movie, the plot is meandering and the 134 minutes lack urgency. However, the cracking ensemble cast featuring Hugh Grant, Regé-Jean Page and Sharon Stone, as well as the production design, make the movie a fun experience. Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander will also star together in this movie, their first time since marrying. Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves is out today in cinemas and promises to be an enjoyable adventure.
