Madikeri, Aug. 12: The three-day Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, organized by the district administration on the occasion of Independence Day, was launched on Tuesday by organizing various programs.
District Collector Venkat Raja launched the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan at the city's District Collector's office.Various programs were launched in cooperation with the Revenue, Panchayat Raj, School Education and Literacy, Pre-University Education Department, Social Welfare, Welfare of Backward Classes, Urban Development, Municipal Administration, Kannada and Culture Department.Speaking about the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, District Collector Venkat Raja said that the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan has been organized as per the government's directives.
Various programs will be held at the district, taluk and gram panchayat levels through various departments. Additional District Collector R. Aishwarya said that various programs have already been organized in schools and colleges and historical places and appealed to join hands for the success of the program.
Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department and Taluka EO Shekhar said that steps have been taken for the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign at the Gram Panchayat level and in residential schools.He said that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has been organized with the participation of the public across Kodagu district from August 13 to 15.
The government has called upon everyone to express and record their patriotism by hoisting the national flag in every house in the country from August 13 to 15 with the slogan ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’.
