Delhi police add more evidence to their chargesheet in the Shraddha Walkar murder case.
According to court sources, the Delhi police have recently submitted a supplementary chargesheet in the case of Aaftab Amin Poonawala, who is accused of murdering his live-in partner, Shraddha Walkar. The filing includes additional digital and forensic evidence reports, making the total chargesheet a whopping 3,000 pages long. It was presented before metropolitan magistrate Aviral Shukla on Tuesday.

Poonawala is alleged to have committed the heinous crime of strangling Walkar and dismembering her body in the Mehrauli area of New Delhi in May of 2022. He then went on to scatter the body parts in various parts of the city in a desperate attempt to avoid being caught. The accused has been charged under sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, which deal with murder and destruction of evidence, respectively.

Sources reveal that the newly filed chargesheet primarily consists of crucial evidence such as Google location data, search history, and other digital and forensic reports. The police department claims that these pieces of evidence strongly support the charges against Poonawala. This is not the first chargesheet filed in this case, as a comprehensive 6,629-page chargesheet was presented back in January of last year.
