Caverian's Fest 2025 on 30th and 31st

 Oct. 21: With the aim of providing a good platform to unveil the hidden talents of the students, Kaveri's Fest-2025 has been organized at Gonikoppalu Kaveri College on 30th and 31st, said Gonikoppalu Kaveri College Principal Dr. M. B. Kaveriappa in a press conference.

Kaveri College, which was born as a result of the efforts of senior education lovers, has been providing higher education to students from rural areas for the last 57 years.

Along with this, with the aim of motivating students to engage themselves in sports and cultural activities, a sports and cultural festival has been organized for undergraduate college students.

Many donors have joined hands to organize the program, and more than 2000 students from pre-university colleges of Kodagu district and Periyapatna, Hunsur taluk will participate in the program.

Dr. Kaveriappa appealed to all the pre-university college students of the district to take advantage of this. The meeting was attended by Vice Principal Prof. M.S. Bharathi, Convener of Student Welfare Association Dr. P.P. Savita, Program Convener U. T. Pemmaiah, Senior Lecturer C. P. Sujaya, Vice President of Student Welfare Association Abhishek, Secretary Ashika, Joint Secretary Kriti Kaveramma.

Volleyball, throwball, tug-of-war, box cricket sports will be held in the two-day Kaveriyans Fest on Ta. 30. Ta. On 31st, Kannada Bhaav Geeta group singing, group folk dance, discussion competition, treasure hunt, quiz and gaming competitions will be held.

The overall champion team will receive Rs. 25,000 thousand in cash and trophy, the runners-up team will receive Rs. 15,000 thousand in cash and trophy, the third place team will receive Rs. 10,000 thousand and the fourth place team will receive Rs. 5000 thousand and the first and second place winners in each competition will receive individual trophies.
