Watch out for Cardi B, because she's not one to mess with. The famous rapper, known for her hit song "WAP", recently made sure to put a Trump aide in their place when they tried to drag her into a controversial situation involving fellow rapper Nicki Minaj and some bots.
It all started when an Israeli company, Cyabra, released a report about the "Inauthentic Amplification of Political Discourse on Nicki Minaj's X Account". This report, which was shared by Politico on February 23rd, claimed that a group of sophisticated bots had helped boost Minaj's image as a conservative figure. And that's when things got interesting.
On X, Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz brought up Cardi B's agent, Mike G, and how he was an investor in Cyabra. This led some to speculate that Cardi may have been involved in the report. Bruesewitz even went as far as to call her a "former Kamala Harris surrogate" and mention her strong stance against ICE agents at her concerts.
But Cardi wasn't having any of it. She quickly shut down any rumors or accusations, saying, "Listen, you involved me in something that has nothing to do wit me so now we're gonna talk about the facts." She went on to explain that Cyabra is simply a data company with many high-profile investors and clients, including names like Elon Musk and Pepsi. She also pointed out that even Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary of State, is on their board of advisors.
Cardi made it clear that she had no involvement in the report and wanted to be left out of any drama. She even threatened to sue Bruesewitz for dragging her into it. And she didn't hold back in her tweets, saying, "See what happens when you involve me in sh*t that don't have nothing to do with me? I get down to the GRISTLE of it!! And btw I am still gonna sue you, you wet dirty dog."
It's safe to say that Cardi was not happy about being dragged into the controversy and was quick to set the record straight. We'll have to wait and see what happens next, but one thing's for sure, Cardi won't hesitate to speak her mind and defend herself. In the meantime, keep an ear out for her voice on the New York City subway, because she's not one to be silenced.
