The National Police Air Service (NPAS) recently used a helicopter to capture the antics of a suspect in Wandsworth, London. The man had attempted to evade police by pretending to be a solar panel and lying down between a number of them. The NPAS London account shared an image of the incident on Twitter, along with a warning to not follow in the man's footsteps. They also shared a humorous comment about how the suspect's not-so-bright idea would not have fooled them or their camera. The officers have seen criminals use all sorts of items in the past to try and hide from them, including a giant 5ft teddy bear and a massive beehive. One Twitter user even shared their own story of a suspect who had unsuccessfully attempted to hide under a normal-sized doormat. The NPAS London account is reminding criminals that their efforts will be unsuccessful and to email their news team if they have any tips. (Image Source: https://metro.co.uk)
