Brooklyn Beckham says he’s “obsessed” with Nicola Peltz in a sharp message to critics.

Brooklyn Beckham has once again paid a romantic tribute to his wife, Nicola Peltz, marking their seventh anniversary together with an especially heartfelt message. And if anyone was growing weary of his public displays of affection, Brooklyn has made it clear that he has no intention of stopping. The aspiring chef, 27, has never been shy about expressing his love, and his latest Instagram posts show that seven years together have done little to curb his enthusiasm.

To celebrate the milestone on Thursday, Brooklyn shared a romantic mirror selfie with Nicola, along with a photo of two bouquets of roses. In his caption, he made it clear exactly where his loyalty lies amid his ongoing estrangement from his famous family. “My beautiful Nicola, you mean absolutely everything to me,” he wrote.

“You’re my whole world, my best friend, and the most important person in my life.” He added: “I’m so lucky I get to love you and spend forever by your side. I love you more than words could ever explain ❤️” But Brooklyn did not stop there. He later returned to Instagram Stories with a more defiant message for anyone critical of his devotion.

Sharing a glamorous photo of his wife, the eldest Beckham son appeared to fire back at his detractors, even including a middle-finger emoji for emphasis. “Yea I am obsessed with my wife bring on the comments I don’t care she’s perfect xx,” he said, alongside a middle-finger emoji and a red heart. It was clear that Brooklyn knows his constant love notes have become a talking point, but he seems entirely unconcerned about dialing them back.

Although he didn’t name anyone directly, the post comes after months of headlines about his increasingly bitter family feud and his apparent determination to put Nicola first. Nicola, 31, also marked the anniversary with a loving tribute of her own. The actress celebrated seven years with her husband by praising the small but meaningful things in their relationship, including his love letters and their morning coffees with their dogs.

She also told Brooklyn that she falls more in love with him every day, commenting on his post: “I more than love you!! My forever and ever!!” The couple first started dating in 2019 and announced their engagement the following year before marrying in a lavish Florida ceremony in April 2022. What should have been a fairytale celebrity wedding has since become part of a wider family dispute.

Earlier this year, Brooklyn launched a sharply worded public attack on his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, accusing them of trying to damage his relationship with Nicola and controlling his life for years. In the explosive statement, Brooklyn said he had no desire to make up with his parents, insisting he had found peace after stepping away from the family. “My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation,” he wrote.

“All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.” Since then, Brooklyn has continued to show his devotion to Nicola through increasingly romantic social media tributes and a few permanent changes as well. The hot sauce entrepreneur, who is heavily tattooed, has reportedly removed or covered several tattoos linked to his family amid the fallout. In August, he made headlines again when the couple celebrated the first anniversary of renewing their wedding vows, a ceremony notably skipped by his parents and siblings.

On that occasion, Brooklyn promised to “always protect” Nicola, calling her his “absolute princess” and saying he loved her “more than life itself.” The pair are said to have chosen to celebrate the anniversary of their vow renewal rather than their original wedding, which Brooklyn has claimed was overshadowed by tension with his family. His latest tribute also comes just weeks after Nicola made her own public gesture of affection for her husband at the Venice Film Festival. When she accepted a rising star award at the Kinéo Awards in September, the actress thanked Brooklyn, along with her parents and brothers, for their unwavering support.

“My family are my everything,” she told the audience, crediting their belief in her with helping her pursue her Hollywood dreams. Brooklyn stayed by her side throughout the celebrations, with the couple pictured sharing several affectionate moments in Venice. And while his relationship with his parents remains strained, Brooklyn seems determined to make one thing very clear: when it comes to Nicola, he is still very much in the honeymoon phase.

Seven years in, countless Instagram love letters still to come, and no interest at all in anyone else’s opinion.
