Actress Patralekhaa speaks against online bullies who have been criticizing her appearance.

Mumbai: Actress-producer Patralekhaa recently spoke out against the body shaming she has faced on social media. The new mother, who has been juggling the demands of two films while caring for her newborn, urged people to show empathy and kindness instead of passing judgment. In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram stories, Patralekhaa called out the harsh scrutiny of her post-pregnancy body.

She emphasized that the changes in her body are a natural part of the pregnancy process, and she should not be criticized for them. Addressing the paparazzi pages directly, she wrote, "Pap pages! What's happened to me?!

The answer is simple - I have just given birth!" She then went on to point out that she has not simply been indulging in excessive eating, but rather balancing the demanding roles of motherhood and producing two films simultaneously. The actress, who is married to fellow actor Rajkummar Rao, made it clear that the weight gain was not a deliberate choice or something she can easily change. "Yes, I have gained weight, which may seem unnatural to you all.

But I have not sat and eaten a mountain; I simply delivered a baby and produced two films, which are not easy jobs," she stated. Patralekhaa concluded her message with a plea for kindness and understanding. "If I could, I would not be this way.

But this is how my body has reacted to pregnancy. Please, for God's sake, learn to be a little kind," she wrote. The couple, who welcomed their baby girl Parvati Paul Rao on November 15th of last year, have been overjoyed with their new role as parents.

Rajkummar first noticed Patralekhaa in an advertisement and was immediately smitten. The two eventually met while working together on the 2014 film CityLights, and their onscreen chemistry soon blossomed into a real-life romance. After dating for some time, Rajkummar proposed to Patralekhaa in October 2021, and the couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their loved ones in November 2021.

Their love story has been one of true devotion and support for each other, and they continue to inspire others with their strong bond. In addition to her successful acting career, Patralekhaa has also ventured into production, with her debut film "Toaster." Her determination and hard work, even while navigating the challenges of motherhood, are truly admirable. Let us all learn from her message and strive to be more understanding and compassionate towards others.
