The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board will be hosting the Chanderi Festival in the Ashoknagar district from October 5th. The Principal Secretary of Tourism, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, announced this during a media briefing on Tuesday. To accommodate guests, a tent city is being set up with modern and luxury facilities. Tourists can enjoy land and air-based adventure activities when they visit. Additionally, the Tourism Board has organized cultural and employment-oriented workshops, as well as DJ nights, light and sound shows, hot air balloon glow shows, vintage car rallies, and photography workshops.
The Tourism Department has also launched a TV commercial, titled 'Ye MP ki Maya', to promote tourist destinations in the state. Tourists visiting the tent city will also be given a tour of the Textile and Craft Tourism Village in Pranpur, which is located 4 kilometres from Chanderi.
