The District Collector in Indore has set up a single window system to simplify the process of issuing permissions for events related to elections in the district. This system is operational 24X7 at the Collector office and has been set up under the guidance of Collector and District Magistrate Ilayaraja T.
So far, 789 applications have been received from October 10, out of which 770 have been issued with permissions. The process of issuing permissions for the remaining 19 applications is underway.
Nodal Officer of the single window system and Deputy Collector Charanjit Singh Hooda informed that permission has been issued for 142 cases for the Assembly Constituency Indore-1, 109 for Assembly Constituency Indore-2, 94 for Assembly Constituency Indore-3, 94 for Assembly Constituency Indore-4, 185 for Indore-5 Assembly Constituency, 113 for Rau Assembly Constituency, 10 for Depalpur Assembly Constituency and 35 applications for Sanwer Assembly Constituency.
Apart from the single window, all the returning officers are also issuing permissions at their level. This is being done to ensure that the process is efficient and smooth. This will also help in raising awareness among first-time voters in Rajgarh.
The District Collector's office is taking all the necessary measures to ensure that the process of granting permissions is done in a timely manner. This will help ensure that the elections are conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
