Virajpet, Aug. 23: The 186th World Photography Day was celebrated by the Kodagu Photographers Association on Tuesday at the Government Valmiki Ashram School in Basavanahalli, Chennangi village of the Scheduled Castes Welfare Department. D.C. Ravindra, President of the Kodagu Photographers Association, and the school teachers inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Speaking later, President Ravindra said that every year, the World Photographers Association has started providing necessary items to various schools, ashrams, and residential schools for poor students.
