People fought strong winds as they enjoyed the event.
April 13th 2023.
Women at the Grand National showcased their courage and resilience as they braved 22 mph winds at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool, today. Despite the gusts of wind that had been reaching up to 96 mph just the day before, the racegoers still managed to keep their spirits up, even when their hats and dresses were blowing off. Prosecco was also kept safe from being carried away by the wind, and some even managed to enjoy the sunshine that graced the racecourse throughout the day. The strong winds may have presented a challenge for the glamorous women, but the men in kilts did not appear to have the same problem! Get in touch with our news team by emailing us at email.
