On Friday, Delhi Police arrested a 49-year-old woman identified as Anjali in connection with an acid attack on her 22-year-old daughter-in-law. According to the police, the incident occurred on Wednesday at around 5.30 p.m. in the New Usmanpur area in northeast Delhi.
The victim was admitted to JPC Hospital with 25 per cent acid burns and was later referred to LNJP Hospital for further treatment.
