BBC Breakfast viewers were in awe of Naga Munchetty's outfit on Friday morning's show. The former Strictly star, 48, had matched her outfit to the UK's sunshine and heatwave, sporting a neon yellow/green shirt and matching trousers.
Fans on Twitter were quick to comment on Naga's 'ridiculously fabulous' look, with one commenting: 'Looking fab in that green outfit.' Another wrote: 'Naga looking ridiculously fabulous in double acid yellow on #bbcbreakfast this morning.' A third added: 'Nice outfit naga!'
One viewer pointed out the outfit was similar to Britain's Got Talent winner Viggo Venn's hi-vis jackets, with the comedian wearing them for his performance and TV appearances. This prompted the comment: '@BBCBreakfast blimey, is Naga paying homage to Viggo Venn this morning? #myeyes.'
This wasn't the first time this week that a BBC Breakfast presenter's outfit has gained attention. On Monday, Carol Kirkwood, who has presented the weather updates on the show since 1997, surprised viewers with a sudden wardrobe change. She was reporting from the RSPB Arne in Dorset, rocking a white T-shirt with a bunny in sunglasses design. Fans were bemused by Carol's outfit choice, with one person asking via social media: 'Carol, my daughter loves your t-shirt! Where is it from?'
Meanwhile, Naga was forced to spring into action to prevent her co-star Charlie Stayt from making a blunder live on-air. Charlie was seen immersed in a newspaper while Naga was interviewing a barrister about funding for families with disabled children, prompting her to give him a sly nudge. Naga also recently saved a BBC Breakfast segment from a gatecrasher, quickly cutting the segment short to prevent any further off-colour comments.
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays from 6am on BBC One.
