On Monday, October 7, Tom sneaks into Butlers in search of his tablet. Unfortunately, he is interrupted by Matty's arrival. Fearing getting caught, Tom hides in Moira's bedroom and waits for Matty to fall asleep. But when Matty's phone rings, Tom is forced to go back into hiding. In a tense moment, Tom grabs a candlestick, ready to defend himself. Luckily, Matty leaves the house, giving Tom the opportunity to get his hands on the tablet.
The next day, Kim takes great pleasure in making Will feel insecure with her new relationship. Things escalate when Will sees her new boyfriend, who happens to be her financial advisor, wearing one of his shirts. As the tension rises, Will punches his love rival in the face.
On Wednesday, Lydia is surprised to find Kim in the Home Farm kitchen first thing in the morning. Kim explains that Will brought someone home last night, and she's still upstairs. Enter Kerry, the Woolpack barmaid, who hastily leaves as Lydia and Kim process the shocking news.
