What an eventful Shark Week it has been! But unfortunately, one of our beloved TV stars had a close encounter with death. As part of Shark Week 2024, our favorite personalities got up close and personal with a group of great white sharks. However, one star got a little too close for comfort.

The programming has only gotten bigger and more daring each year, but this year's events may have pushed the limits a little too far. Dr. Riley Elliot, a well-known TV personality, was lowered into the water where the sharks were lurking. However, a sudden gap in the bars of the cage allowed a shark to slip in, causing chaos.
