This was followed by baby name websites, culture or religion, friends, social media, and previous top 100 baby names lists. About 8% of parents chose "other," with many revealing that they were inspired by pop culture or music, and 10% specifically citing the Bible as a source of inspiration.
As for the names that have dropped out of the top 100 in 2023, there were five for both boys and girls. Girls' names that said goodbye to the top 100 were Charlie, Jasmine, Claire, Gracie, and Lilly, while boys' names were Ashton, Connor, Vincent, Elias, and Jaxon.
