Tom was feeling incredibly anxious as he desperately tried to hide his wrongdoings. In the latest episode of Emmerdale, the villainous Tom King was seen plotting his next move as he attempted to retrieve evidence of his abusive behavior towards his wife, Belle Dingle. As viewers may recall, Tom was arrested after Belle reported domestic violence and the police seized his electronic devices as part of their investigation.
However, Tom was horrified to discover that a tablet containing incriminating footage of Belle, which he had recorded at Dale Head, had gone missing. Little did he know, his young cousin Carl Holliday had taken it without his knowledge to play a game. The tablet eventually ended up in the possession of Carl's friend, Isaac Dingle, and when his mother Moira Dingle stumbled upon the footage, she immediately rushed to Belle to inform her of the new evidence that would expose Tom's abusive behavior.
Unfortunately, Moira, who recently received a devastating diagnosis of a brain tumor, suffered a seizure on her way to meet Belle and completely forgot what she had uncovered. This only added to Tom's desperation to retrieve the missing tablet. On Friday, he resorted to manipulating Carl into confessing that he had given it to Isaac to play the game.
Tom also took advantage of his cousin's vulnerability by threatening him not to reveal that he had seen the tablet, reminding him that he could end up in prison just like his half-sister Angelica King. Meanwhile, Isaac remained in possession of the tablet, unaware of the dangerous situation he had found himself in.
As Tom spotted Moira and Isaac in the village, he watched from a distance as he promised Carl that he would "deal with Isaac" when the time came. However, spoilers for next week's episodes have already revealed that there is grave danger ahead for Isaac as Tom's determination to retrieve the tablet reaches dangerous levels.
