Virajpet, Aug. 11: Three persons have been arrested for illegally selling ganja, a banned drug, to Kerala state through Perumbadi route of RG village under Virajpet city police station limits.
Two persons, Anees Ahmed (45) and Chetan (40) of Hunsur, have been arrested and action has been taken. The Swift car of the arrested persons was seized with 7.87 kg. of ganja (estimated value of Rs. 2,50,000), four packets of ganja, a mobile phone, and a plastic bag filled with ganja.

Akram (48) of Doddabairanakutte village in H.D. Kote taluk, Mysore district and 4.710 kg. Ganja was seized. The accused has been produced before the court.
