Mysuru; Thieves have stolen valuable parts from parked cars, reportedly from Rajarajeshwari Nagar here on Monday night. The thieves allegedly removed the four tyres of two cars parked in front of their houses. They had kept size stones under the chassis to easily remove the wheels.
Petrol theft from parked vehicles has also been reported from the same area.
Taking advantage of the heavy rainfall, these thieves managed to remove the tyres and escape. One wheel costs around Rs 6,000 and tyres worth Rs 48,000 have been stolen. A case has been registered by Saraswathipuram Police and the investigation is ongoing.
