A woman threatened to kill her neighbour and burn his house down after being asked to speak more quietly on the phone.
Gabriella Batchelor, 23, was at her mother’s home in Peterborough when she began talking loudly late at night on September 7, 2020.
It was so loud her next-door neighbour banged on the wall to try and quieten her down.
But minutes later, Batchelor had made her way to his front door with a kitchen knife, and started banging and shouting abuse.
She threatened to burn the house down and set fire to the cars outside, and shouted: ‘I am going to kill you, I am going to kill your family.’
Batchelor went back inside after her tirade of abuse, but the police arrived shortly afterwards.
She refused to let them inside the house, but they forced entry, arrested her and found the knife hidden under a pillow.
