The Lokayukta report on MUDA scam was altered to benefit CM Siddaramaiah, according to Kumaraswamy.
In a recent press conference, Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of manipulating the Lokayukta report to suit his own interests. The report in question pertains to the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) site allotment case, where Siddaramaiah is facing allegations of illegally allotting 14 sites to his wife, Parvathi B M.

Kumaraswamy did not mince his words as he criticized the Chief Minister, stating that the truth behind the MUDA scam is clear for everyone to see from the documents. He also expressed his concerns over the interference of the government in the investigation, which has made it difficult to bring the case to a logical conclusion. The Union Minister went on to say that they have been constantly harassed for raising the issue, and the government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by IAS officers to probe the allegations of land encroachment by him.

Kumaraswamy also took a trip down memory lane, recalling his days as a film distributor in Mysuru when he had worked hard to acquire the disputed land in Ramanagara district. He stated that he had even written to the authorities in the past, requesting them to conduct a survey and take back the land if there was any encroachment. However, his request was ignored, and he has been facing harassment for four decades now.

The Union Minister also questioned the sudden emergence of new claimants for the land, despite the government's own admission that there are no original documents. He accused the state government of bringing in these claimants for their own ulterior motives, and claimed to have all the information regarding their involvement.

In a bold statement, Kumaraswamy challenged the government to conduct an international survey if needed, as he has nothing to hide and is not afraid of the truth coming out. He ended his statement by taking a dig at the government, implying that they should not be afraid to reveal the truth if they have nothing to hide.
