Ram Mohan Naidu, who has been elected as an MP for the third time from the Srikakulam constituency, is all set to become a part of the Cabinet. Meanwhile, Chandra Sekhar, who was the wealthiest candidate in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, will also be taking the oath for the first time after being elected from Guntur.

The TDP has confirmed that Ram Mohan Naidu will be inducted into the Cabinet, while party leader and former Guntur MP Galla Jayadev took to Twitter to announce that Chandra Sekhar will be sworn in as minister of state. He congratulated Chandra Sekhar on his achievement and expressed his pride in serving the nation at the central level during his very first political stint. Jayadev also wished him all the best for his new role and hoped that he will bring about positive changes and make a meaningful impact.

Chandra Sekhar, who hails from Burripalem village in Guntur district, is the richest Lok Sabha candidate in the country with declared family assets of over Rs 5,705 crore. A medical professional who founded and serves as the CEO of 'UWorld', Chandra Sekhar made his electoral debut with a victory over his nearest rival Kilari Venkata Rosaiah of the YSR Congress Party by a margin of 3.4 lakh votes.

After completing his MBBS from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad in 1999, Chandra Sekhar moved to the US where he pursued post-graduation. He then went on to do his M.D. in internal medicine at Geisinger Medical Centre in Danville, Pennsylvania. The stage is set for a grand ceremony as the nation eagerly awaits the swearing-in of these prominent leaders who will represent the people of Andhra Pradesh at the central level.
