Tammy Slaton, star of 1000-Lb Sisters, has shared her emotional reaction to the death of her estranged husband Caleb Willingham. Willingham's stepmother confirmed his death to TMZ over the weekend, but his cause of death remains unknown.
Tammy paid tribute to her ex-partner on social media writing: “Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness ❤️❤️”. To further express her grief, Tammy has shared a video to TikTok where she can be seen crying as she comes to terms with her loss.
In the video, Tammy, aged 36, spoke of her current ‘stages of grief’. She said: “We were having problems, but I loved that man and I still do. I miss him like crazy, but I wanted to thank everybody for your comments. I appreciate it, I really do. We’re not gonna get into details of what happened, it’s really personal.”
Tammy and Caleb had met in rehab last year, were married for five months and split in May this year. Despite their separation, Tammy had nothing but love for her former husband: “I’m aware that he is looking down on me. He’s not in any pain anymore. I know he’s in a better place. Again, thank you all and I love you all from the bottom of my heart. He really loved you all too.”
The cause of Willingham’s death is yet to be revealed, although Tammy is thought to have moved on from Caleb with a younger man, Indiana-based TikToker Greg Morgan.
Tammy’s loss is sure to have been felt by many. Our thoughts go out to her and Willingham’s family at this difficult time.
