Furthermore, Panda shared that two Deputy Inspectors General, 13 Deputy Commissioners of Police, 18 Additional DCPs, 58 Assistant Commissioners of Police, 94 Inspectors, and 312 Sub-Inspector and ASI rank officers will be present to ensure the smooth functioning of the event. In addition to this, three units of the Special Tactical Unit, a specialized urban warfare counter-terrorist force of the Odisha Police, and a team from the Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force will also be stationed at the venue.
Panda also mentioned that security personnel will be deployed in the high-rise buildings surrounding the Janata Maidan. He assured that the venue is being thoroughly sanitized by the dog squad and Anti-Sabotage team officials. To ensure the safety of all attendees, the city police have also implemented restrictions on any vehicular movement from Jaydev Vihar Square to NALCO Square, or any connecting lanes, from 2 pm to 7 pm or until the conclusion of the function.
