I'm Glottis, and I've been playing Starfield ever since it was released this year. Before this game, I had no interest whatsoever in role-playing games. I always thought they were too nerdy and uncool. However, when Skyrim came out and I got to borrow it from a friend, I was blown away and I've been hooked ever since.
Starfield naturally caught my attention and I even purchased the Premium Edition so I could play it 5 days early. I've not been disappointed. I know there is some disagreement about how good the game is but for me, it is exactly what I hoped it would be. I love the freedom of space travel and the ability to visit whatever I want, whenever I want. I can create my own adventure as I go along and it's so much fun.
I also love the skill tree in Starfield. Skill trees in role-playing games have been getting worse and worse in recent years, either being made up of trivial abilities or being filled with things you should have had from the start. But in Starfield, everything is much better thought out and so many of them add completely new abilities, like the jetpack ability and starship targeting. It's actually difficult to unlock new levels instead of just getting skill points for doing nothing.
Starfield is an amazing game and I am absolutely loving it. However, I am not proud of the way Bethesda has been acting recently. The whole review copy controversy was really bad and it looks like they are trying to hide something. I believe that the game should be the one that gets you loyalty and not anything else. Despite this, Starfield still has my 100% devotion and I know I will be playing it for years to come.
