Snoop Dogg disliked using profanity towards children in his sports comedy movie.
Snoop Dogg is set to release a new sports comedy film exclusively on Amazon Prime, paying tribute to his hometown of Long Beach, California in his signature foul-mouthed style.

The rap legend will star in "The Underdoggs," a movie inspired by his Snoop Youth Football League, a program that provides opportunities for underprivileged youth to play football and cheer. According to the Long Beach Post, Snoop will play the role of Jaycen "Two Js" Jennings, a former pro football player whose career has hit a rough patch. As part of his community service, Jennings is assigned to coach a rowdy youth football team through the Long Beach Recreations Department.

Featuring a star-studded cast including Mike Epps, Tika Sumpter, Kandi Burruss, George Lopez, Andrew Schulz, and Kal Penn, Snoop brings the laughs and plenty of profanity to the screen.

The film is rated R and is filled with N-words, F-bombs, and expletive-laced rants, which Snoop boldly warns viewers about at the start of the movie.

"Warning: This movie contains language that may not be suitable for children. But screw that. Y'all know...the kids who aren't even supposed to be watching this sh-- curse more than the rest of us motherf---ers," Snoop announces.

Despite his comedic performance, the "Gin and Juice" rapper admits that yelling and swearing at child actors was not easy for him. In an interview with BET, Snoop confesses that it was difficult for him to film those scenes because it goes against his nature.

"It may have looked like I was having fun, but I hated it. That's not who I am," Snoop shares. "When they said, 'Cut!' I was like, 'I can't believe I just talked to those kids like that! Let me go play with them or something.'"

Actress Tika Sumpter, who plays Snoop's love interest in the film, confirms that the rapper was a complete sweetheart with the kids when the cameras weren't rolling.

"He would have rap battles with them off-camera," she reveals. "He was amazing with the kids."

Finding child actors who could swear on camera was also a challenge for director Charles Stone III.

"That was tricky," Stone says. "Many parents didn't want their child to audition. But the kids who did show up were perfect for the roles, and their parents were fine with it. They understood the context."

"The Underdoggs" will showcase Snoop's alma mater, Long Beach Polytechnic High School, and honor the city that raised him. The film will premiere on Amazon Prime on Friday, January 26.

In related news, Snoop recently turned down a $100 million deal with OnlyFans, citing his "black wife" as the reason for his decision.
