With all the talk of Zelda, Baldur's Gate, and Starfield vying for all the Game of the Year accolades, Spider-Man 2 is being unfairly ignored. The gameplay reveal wasn't the best, but that can be attributed to the PlayStation Showcase, which was bad across the board. Starfield is finished and there's going to be no more delays. American sites have already decided it's amazing, even though nobody has played it yet. Will it be a great game? It's hard to say. To be a Game of the Year contender, it needs to nail the combat, the space travel, and the dialogue. Has it done that? We won't know until it's released.
I was wondering what GC's feelings are concerning cut scenes for side missions. Do you prefer them or audio log exposition dumps? We prefer them to get on with it.

If you're interested in PlayStation VR2, the best way to experience it is to try it somewhere. It's the best gaming experience I've had in a long time, but it's subjective and divisive. Unfortunately, there isn't a good way to try it out other than knowing someone who has one. Gran Turismo 7 has turned me into somewhat of a VR snob, as it was so good. As a result, I find playing flatscreen games to be strangely flat. I'm keeping my eye out for Firewall Ultra, which is releasing towards the end of August.
