A tragic accident occurred on Tuesday in Santa Clara, resulting in the death of a 66-year-old man from San Jose. Two other individuals were also injured in the collision between two vehicles, according to authorities.

Mike Crescini shared in a news release that a 20-year-old man from San Jose was driving at high speeds in a pickup truck on westbound Stevens Creek Boulevard. At the same time, an SUV was making a left turn from eastbound Stevens Creek Boulevard into a driveway when the two vehicles collided.
Upon arrival, officers found the SUV driver, a 66-year-old man from San Jose, lying on the ground. He was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The man's identity will be released by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office once his next of kin has been notified.
The SUV's passenger, a 65-year-old woman from San Jose, sustained life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the hospital. The driver of the pickup truck did not suffer any injuries, but his passenger, a 19-year-old man from San Jose, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
