Narmadapuram: A health checkup camp has been organised on the premises of the district TB hospital following instructions of the chairperson of Nagar Palika, Neetu Mahendra Yadav. The Safai workers were offered several examinations free of cost and Yadav appealed to them to take advantage of the health camp. She also asked the residents to cooperate with the health officials in order to keep the city clean.

Cleanliness nodal officer Deeksha Tiwari informed that the cleanliness week which began from September 15th will continue till October 2nd. After this, members of Parradahe village Panchayat in Hasalpur were seen cleaning up the Ghats of the Narmada and holding a discussion over awareness about cleanliness. People’s representatives and officials of the district administration participated in the cleanliness drive and vowed to keep the city clean.

Chief executive officer HemandSutrakar, block coordinator Ramkumar Gaur and assistant accounts officer Mahesh Dubey were present at the event. Sutrakar appealed to those present at the cleanliness drive to cast their votes in the upcoming assembly election and advised the labourers who work at various construction sites and warehouses to do the same. Member Janpad Kamal Singh Yadav administered the oath of cleanliness after which Secretary Prabhudayal Tiwari, Rajendra Yadav Golan and others were present at the programme.

Meanwhile, a Blood Collection Unit has opened at AIIMS, Bhopal. The unit was inaugurated by the Minister of Medical Education, Vishwas Sarang. This unit will ensure that the blood required for medical purposes is collected and delivered in a more efficient and timely manner. Sarang also appealed to the citizens to donate blood for the greater good.
