Indore: Rajya Shiksha Kendra Madhya Pradesh (RSKMP) will be declaring the results of the supplementary exams of Class 5 and Class 8 most likely by July 20th. Although it is compulsory to upload marks to the portal, many teachers are still struggling with this task.
RSKMP conducted the supplementary examination for the students who have failed in the fifth-eighth board examination. Thus, in order to make sure that results are released soon, the centre has given instructions for teachers to evaluate the answer sheets in each district.
As of now, the teachers are in the process of evaluating the copies of the students in Indore district. More than 300 teachers teaching students from classes 5 to 8 are currently engaged in this work. The RSKMP has insisted on uploading the marks of the students on the portal within fifteen days, which is proving to be a difficult task.
However, despite the delay, officials have announced that the results for both the classes will be declared on or after July 20th. Both the exams will have their results declared simultaneously, as per the RSKMP.
The reason for this hurried conduct of the fifth-eighth board exams, after 13 years, is due to the instructions of the State Government. Earlier, there was a problem in allotting centres to the students, in which small children were given centres ten to fifteen km away from home. This negligence in checking the copies have led to most of the private school students failing, with some students even getting zero in different subjects.
This disturbance was seen in most of the districts, with many districts having all of their private school results declared zero. Despite the disturbance, the responsible officers were not ready to accept the mistake. Thus, the RSKMP has not released the merit list until now, even though the results were already released.
