After facing a number of challenges recently, Roy Cropper is now set to face a terrifying health scare in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street. The beloved character is taken ill during a salsa class with Evelyn, and later admits he has been suffering from chest pains and breathlessness when he visits the doctor.

Thankfully, there are currently no plans for Roy to leave the Street anytime soon. However, the health scare is sure to add to the list of the character's recent struggles - from learning how to use a phone to dealing with the tragedy of his friend's sudden death.



In the midst of it all, Roy is determined to keep his spirits high and has recently acquired a new canine companion! As the drama unfolds, viewers will have to keep watching to find out what happens.
