Role of teachers in students' education is invaluable, says Mantar Gowda

Somwarpet, Jul. 15: The role of teachers in students' education is invaluable. Parents are the first teachers of students, said MLA Mantar Gowda.

He was speaking after inaugurating the felicitation program for meritorious students of the year 2024-25 organized by the Somwarpet unit of the Kodagu Journalists' Association at the Patrika Bhawan here.

Teachers are the lamp that shows the way to students, the role of teachers in the lives of students is very important. Parents are the first teachers in childhood. Later, teachers become the guides of students in schools and colleges, he said. The felicitation programs organized by various institutions for meritorious students should inspire other students. If there is courage and determination, any goal can be achieved. A person must have desires and dreams. Without these, it is not possible to move towards the goal of success, he said, students should realize the importance of newspapers. He expressed confidence that if local problems are shown through the press and media, we are committed to solving them honestly.

Honors impose more responsibility on an individual. One should accept this with respect and achieve better in the future.
