Rob McElhenney's swollen face left fans completely stunned this New Year's Eve. The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star, 46, posted a selfie of his face which was so swollen it looked unrecognisable.
Accompanying the post, Rob wrote: "Aside from that slight allergic reaction to the nuts, 2023 was one of the best years of my life." It was only made clear afterward that the swelling was in fact the work of prosthetics.

On top of taking the club to new heights, Rob and Ryan also oversaw a historic milestone for the club, ending a 15-year absence from the English Football League by claiming the National League title in April. Celebrations were then taken up a notch when Wrexham was designated a city in September 2022.
What an incredible year it's been for Rob and Ryan, and we can't wait to see what season 3 of Welcome To Wrexham has in store. Until then, it looks like Rob will be avoiding the nuts in 2024!
