Republic day celebrations

   The 70th Republic Day celebrations were held in Murnad educational institute. The Function was held in the institute's Cauvery hall and retired IAS officer Avaremaadanda Monnappa was called as the chief guest. Addressing the function, he said, if the youth think, along the lines of developing the country, they can enjoy a bright future. 

   Before the function, Avaremaadanda Monnappa hoisted the national flag and witnessed the march past by the institute's high school, PUC and Degree college students. Flowers were offered to the martyrs. 

   Institute's president Baachettira Madappa presided over the function. On the stage Vidya Monnappa, the institute's secretary Chowrira Pemmaiah, vice president Pudiyokkada Subramani, treasurer Baduvanda Subramani, directors Nandettira Raja Madappa, Telapanda Shaila, Palanganda Vittal Poovaiah, Pre-University college principal P M Devakki, degree college principal Prof. Pattada Poovanna, high school headmistress A S Rashmi, primary school headmaster S D Prashanth were seated.

   Hudikeri: Cycles were distributed to the high school students in Hudikeri’s Janata high school and also Republic Day function was held. The Function was presided over by SBC President Changulanda Sooraj. Chief guest Hudikeri's GP president Kallengada Sudha Ramesh distributed the cycles. Student Prajnashree briefed about the importance of the Republic Day. Assistant teachers Girish, Mallikarjun, Subramani, Mohan, Chondamma and Sarita were present. Cycles were distributed to the 8th standard students. Ramya sang a prayer song, headmaster C K Mohan welcomed. Assistant teacher Bhaskar offered vote of thanks.

   Chettalli: Republic Day was celebrated in Chettalli high school. Headmistress Tilaka presided over the function. Hindi teacher M E Manoj hoisted the flag and spoke regarding the importance of the day. Program was attended by the teachers and students. Science teacher emceed and kannada teacher Sunanda presented vote of thanks.
