A cast member from Love is Blind UK has opened up about a break-up that was not shown on the show. The series, hosted by Matt and Emma Willis, follows 30 singletons as they try to find love without ever seeing each other. Obviously, Jasmine is really good friends with Sharlotte. Me and Jasmine were very good friends, but at the event I went to the other day, I felt quite isolated. I had to remind myself that this isn't my reality and my true friends are at home." She also mentioned that she had reached out to Jasmine for communication but did not receive the support she needed in that moment. Demi explained that she is not trying to diminish the friendship she had with Jasmine, but she needs to protect herself and has chosen to distance herself from certain people.
Demi also shared that she initially wanted to speak her truth at the reunion, but decided not to because she realized that these people will not be a part of her future. She added, "I don't want any relationship with these people moving forward, so why keep fueling something that needs to die out now? I just want to get on with my life and find my husband." However, Demi still maintains a close friendship with Nicole and Elle, whom she called her "safety blanket" during the pods.
On the other hand, Ollie expressed his frustration with the cast and some viewers for not believing in his attraction towards Demi. He explained that this misconception was present even before he met Demi and it plays into a stereotype of what the "perfect" beauty standard is. Ollie emphasized that women come in all shapes, sizes, shades, and heights, and we should appreciate and celebrate that diversity.
