The toss was won by RCB skipper Smriti Mandhana, who chose to bowl first. This decision was influenced by the possibility of dew on the ground later in the game.
Mandhana's team includes four overseas players - Grace Harris, Lauren Bell, Linsey Smith, and Nandine de Klerk. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians will have to do without their star player Hayley Matthews, who is currently ill, as confirmed by their captain Harmanpreet Kaur.
