Madikeri, Sep. 26: The team led by Raghu Dixit, who is famous at the global level, will organize a cultural program on the Ayudha Puja of the 1st. Along with this, dozens of plans have been formulated to make the Dasara festival attractive, according to the Dasara Committee leaders.

Speaking at a press conference held at the city's Patrika Bhavan, Madikeri Dasara Committee Working President B.K. Arun Kumar said that Madikeri Dasara is also being successfully held with the cooperation of everyone. The committee is working hard to organize the upcoming programs systematically. He informed that a rasamanjari and cultural program of various teams have been organized on Sep. 2. The Municipal Council (from the first page) and City Dasara Committee Vice President Mahesh Jaini appealed to everyone's cooperation for the Madikeri Dasara programs.

The main streets of the city have been decorated with electric lights, stage construction, drones, and galleries at a total cost of Rs 58 lakhs. The Dasara Committee is systematically preparing for the Dasara celebration with the cooperation of the MLAs. In addition, the city has been decorated with electric lights and a festive atmosphere has been created. He appealed that everyone's cooperation is necessary for the Dasara programs. A weapon puja will be held on Ba.1, and Kannada and Culture Department Minister Shivaraj Tangadgi has been invited. Dasara Committee General Secretary Arun Shetty said that the government is providing a grant of Rs 1.50 crore for the current year's Dasara festival. A lot of money is being spent on Dashamantapa, Karaga, and various programs. Therefore, he said that a demand will be made to provide Rs 2 crore from next year. The press conference was attended by Municipal Council and City Dasara Committee President Kalavathi, Treasurer Sabita, and Secretary Kanehitlu Monnappa.
