Protest march in Gonikoppal against conversion

Gonikoppa, Sep. 4: A public awareness march against conversion was organized by the Gonikoppa Nagar Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Hundreds of Hindus, led by Vishwa Hindu Parishad Gonikoppal Nagar President Amritraj, chanted slogans against conversion and marched with the aim of arresting the principals of Attur National Academy School, Shanti Achappa, and Benny, who were inciting conversion.

A march was held from Gonikoppa Mahalakshmi Temple to Attur National Academy School.

On August 31, the protestors expressed their anger at the unauthorized Christian meeting held by Shanti Achappa and Benny, residents of Attur village, in the hall of owner Ayyappa, saying that the meeting was held with the intention of converting tribals, economically backward people, and indigenous residents of Kodagu to Christianity.

The proceedings of the meeting and the participants were captured on camera by Shanti Achappa's son and went viral on social media. They protested that Shanti Achappa and Benny, who held the conversion meeting, should be arrested for this serious reason.

Work is being done to disrupt the health of the society by converting Hindus to Christianity. If the district administration and (from the front page)
