When the cast of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny finished filming, it was an emotional moment for everyone, especially Harrison Ford. After all, the 80-year-old actor had been playing the iconic whip-cracking hero for over half his life.
Producer Simon Emanuel shared a touching insight into the importance of the series to the cast when he spoke to The Agency at the London premiere of Dial of Destiny. "The very last day shooting was really emotional and I'll never forget it. We called wrap, we all had a toast and it was really emotional for lots of people. But particularly Harrison," he said.

"I think it's his favorite character, out of the characters he's played it's...no, it's his favorite character. So I'm sure saying goodbye, it's quite something," he said.
At the premiere, fans got to spot some familiar faces, such as John Rhys-Davies who played Sallah in two of the previous films, as well as some new ones, such as Mads Mikkelsen. Simon Emanuel was also excited for fans to see the film, which serves as a farewell to Indiana Jones and a story four decades in the making.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny hits UK cinemas on June 28th and fans are undoubtedly looking forward to watching the swashbuckling send-off of Harrison Ford's favorite character.
