Moharana's SHG, located in her village Khairabad, has been actively involved in making various products from waste materials for the past eight years. With the help of 40 to 50 female members, the group collects, cleans, and dries plastic waste from the village and surrounding areas. The plastic is then cut into strips and used to create products such as baskets, pen stands, and flower pots.
Moharana, who considers PM Modi as her brother, even sent him a Rakhi in August last year to show her love and respect for him. Her dedication and hard work towards the Swachh Bharat campaign has not only earned her recognition from the Prime Minister, but has also provided a source of income for the women in her village.
