Paraphrase: Police investigate couple living in Indore in regards to a case.
Ujjain: On Wednesday, the Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested a woman for leaving her 15-day-old daughter in the Indore-Bilaspur train on October 29 evening. Both the husband and wife have been charged in this case.

The woman admitted that after their love marriage, her husband didn't want to keep the child. They informed their families about the passing of the infant. After that, the father took his wife and baby to the Indore station and returned after dropping his wife off in a train bound for Ujjain station.

When the train arrived at Ujjain station at 6.30 pm on Sunday, the woman, who was sitting in the S-8 coach, gave the baby to other passengers and asked them to take care of her until she came back from the restroom. However, she never returned until the train departed.

The passengers tried to comfort the crying baby for some time but eventually informed the railway helpline number 182. The infant was then handed over to GRP upon reaching Bhopal station. Later, the child was shifted to the Bhopal Matruchhaya.

The Ujjain GRP was searching for the mother with the help of CCTV footage and eventually managed to locate her. TI Jyoti Sharma reported that Saurabh, 22, and his 20-year-old wife Khushbu, who live in the Banganga area of Indore, didn't want to keep the child due to their financial conditions. They had a love marriage just a month ago.

A month after their marriage, Khushbu gave birth to the child but the couple decided to tell their families that the baby had passed away. Saurabh then hatched a plan for them to put Khushbu and the baby on the Narmada Express train on October 29 and leave her there. Khushbu did as planned and returned to Indore.

A case under Section 317 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the parents and further action is underway. TI Sharma further reported that Khushbu and Saurabh had been in a relationship for the last two years. Although their families were against their union, they got married after Khushbu got pregnant.

Khushbu works as a tailor and Saurabh is a delivery boy in a private company. The couple wanted to leave the child with other passengers on the train but they both are now in police custody and will be produced in court soon.
