Opposition creates disruption at IMC meeting when Speaker passes proposals in 3 mins.
The special conference of Indore Municipal Corporation was filled with chaos as the opposition councilors created a ruckus when the Speaker passed all the proposals within mere 3 minutes without any discussion. The one-hour question session was full of arguments between the MiC members and corporators from the opposition.

Soon after the question session, the chairman read out the proposals one by one and the council quickly passed all the proposals in three minutes, leaving the Congress councilors including the opposition leader Chintu Chowksey feeling cheated and frustrated. This led to a protest in front of the chairman Munnalal Yadav which was soon ended with the playing of the national anthem.

During the conference, Chintu Chowksey raised the issue of drinking water in 85 wards of the city. He alleged about the supply of dirty water from the Narmada line. Bablu Sharma, the corporator and water supply in-charge, defended the Corporation and said that their officers and employees resolve the problems and complaints promptly.

Fauzia Sheikh Aleem questioned about the Corporation Council meeting which was held after four months from April. The Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav cited Section 27 of the Municipal Corporation's Constitution in his answer.

The BJP councilors objected when Chintu Chowksey read out his questions in his statement which was targeted at the present council. He called the meeting 'illegal' during the conference. This led to a lot of chaos as corporators raised slogans in PM Narendra Modi support and against Rahul Gandhi and Congress.
