In Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, exciting news has been announced by Governor Raghubar Das. Based on the advice of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, the portfolios for ministers who were sworn in on June 12 have been allocated. As per the press notification released by the Governor, Chief Minister Majhi will be taking on important departments such as Home, General Administration and Public Grievance, Finance, Information & Public Relations, Water Resources, and Planning & Convergence. Bibhuti Bhushan Jena will be in charge of the Commerce & Transport and Steel & Mines departments, while Krushna Chandra Mahapatra will be handling Housing & Urban Development and Public Enterprises.
Additionally, there are also Ministers of State with Independent Charge who have been assigned important roles. Ganesh Ram Singhkhuntia will be handling the Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Labour & Employees State Insurance departments. Suryabanshi Suraj has been given the responsibility of managing Higher Education, Sports & Youth Services, and Odia Language Literature & Culture. Pradeep Bal Samanta will be overseeing the Co-operation, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts departments, while Gokulananda Mallik will be in charge of the Fisheries & Animal Resources Development and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises departments. Lastly, Sampad Chandra Swain will be responsible for the Industries, Skill Development & Technical Education department.
