A fire incident occurred at a privately-owned nursing home in Cuttack, Odisha on Saturday evening, according to officials. The nursing home, situated near Purighat Police Station, caught fire around 4:30 pm and three fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the location to put out the blaze.

Director-General of Fire Services, Sudhanshu Sarangi, reported that while the fire was now under control, the smoke was still a concern.
