No glass bridge in Rajaseat

Madikeri, Jul. 16: Former Minister Y. C. Nanaiah has expressed strong objection to the Horticulture Department, which is supposed to build a beautiful park in Rajaseat and take care of it, now giving permission to operate a glass bridge there

Rajaseat, a beautiful place of nature, is a favorite destination not only for tourists but also for locals, and senior citizens also come there to enjoy the beauty of nature. Hundreds of people rely on Rajaseat for walking in the morning and evening, and allowing the construction of a glass bridge for commercial purposes in such a beautiful area is an injustice to nature, Nanaiah has expressed his anger.

He has demanded that the Horticulture Department immediately withdraw the permission given to this project and that no commercial enterprise should be allowed here in the future.

Rajaseat falls under the jurisdiction of the Department of Antiquities, and that department should also not give permission for the glass bridge for any reason. Nature lovers and organizations in the district have said that they should express their opposition.

They praised the District Collector's move to seek government guidelines for the construction of the Glass Bridge and demanded that the district administration in Rajasit should not allow this project under any circumstances.
