It's that time again, folks! Nintendo has just announced not one, but two exciting presentations that will be back-to-back and last a combined 40 minutes. If you've been following the rumors swirling around, you may have heard whispers of a Nintendo Direct coming our way. Well, get ready because the company has officially confirmed that not only will there be one, but two presentations on Tuesday, August 27th.
The first presentation, starting at 3pm UK time, will be an Indie World showcase. Following immediately after will be the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. Both presentations will be streaming right here on YouTube and will last a total of 40 minutes. Just a heads up, the Partner Showcase will not include any first party Nintendo titles. Sorry to disappoint, but you won't be seeing any Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom or Super Mario Party Jamboree during this one.
But don't worry, there's still plenty to look forward to. We may get updates on the highly anticipated Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, which is expected to release sometime this year. And for all you LEGO and Horizon fans out there, there's a possibility we may see some news about Sony's Lego Horizon Adventures during the presentation.
As for the Indie World portion, there's a chance we may get new information on The Plucky Squire, set to release on September 17th. And there's even been a recent rating for a Switch port of Nine Sols in Taiwan, so keep your eyes peeled for that too.
Now, we know you're all itching for any news on the successor to the Switch. Unfortunately, Nintendo has once again squashed any hopes of that happening during these presentations.
