NFL player Bo Nix purchases $4M home in Castle Pines.

Exciting news for the Village at Castle Pines community - the new Broncos quarterback, Bo Nix, and his wife Izzy have officially moved in! The couple purchased a stunning 6,551-square-foot home for $4 million, located in the gated community of Castle Rock. The previous owner of this lavish property was former NFL running back, Shane Patrick-Henry Vereen, who played for both the New England Patriots and New York Giants. According to property records, Vereen bought the home from Sterling Custom Homes for $600,000 back in 2016. However, after only two years, he decided to sell and listed the property with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty for $4.2 million in April of this year. It's no surprise that it caught the eye of the Nixes, who were drawn to the spacious five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home with its luxurious features and prime location. One of the standout features of the home is the large dining room that opens up to a covered outdoor kitchen, perfect for entertaining guests. The great room also boasts a 15-foot NanaWall of sliding doors, leading out to a covered deck. This 6,551-square-foot beauty is situated in the highly-desired gated community, The Village at Castle Pines, and offers multiple outdoor entertaining spaces, including an oversized patio with a gas fireplace. As you make your way through the home, you'll find the primary suite on the main level, complete with a gas fireplace and a separate deck, offering a tranquil retreat for the Nixes. The en suite bathroom features heated floors and a closet that conveniently connects to the laundry room. On the upper level, there are two more bedrooms with walk-in closets and en suite baths, as well as a loft area. Downstairs, the lower level offers a wine room, theater room, another bedroom with an en suite bath, and a wet bar that opens up to yet another outdoor entertaining space with an oversized patio and gas fireplace. The home also includes a four-car garage and a golf cart bay, providing ample space for all of the Nix's vehicles. Representing the previous owner, Stacie Chadwick with LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, and representing the Nixes, Rachel Sartin with Corken + Company Real Estate Group. Sartin also represented Broncos coach Sean Payton when he purchased his Belcaro mansion for $4.5 million. This news comes after the Broncos drafted Nix in the first round of this year’s NFL draft, following the release of quarterback Russell Wilson. In other Broncos real estate news, Wilson and his wife, singer-songwriter Ciara, made headlines earlier this year when they purchased a $25 million home on Cherry Hills Park Drive, setting a new record for the most expensive home ever sold in the Denver area. However, they recently sold the mansion off-market for $21.5 million in March. Stay updated on the latest real estate and business news by signing up for our weekly newsletter, On the Block.
