Speaking at a meeting of school vehicle drivers held at Ponnampet police station, he said that school buses, including other vehicles, should pay attention to the safety of children. Every driver should wear uniforms and have a driving license, vehicle registration, and insurance.

It is better to drive within the minimum speed limit, and action will be taken against drivers who behave irresponsibly while drunk and without paying attention to the safety of children, he said. Every driver should be aware of this.

He appealed to the school children to inform the police immediately if they come across any two-wheelers causing unnecessary problems while the vehicles carrying them are moving, or following the high-speed bus or causing any other problems. Bus drivers of CIT College, Sai Shankar Vidya Sanstha, Sant Thomas School, Appachchu Kavi Vidya Sanstha, Signature Academy were present in the meeting.
